Joe’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation, commercial disputes, employment advice and counsel, and civil writs and appeals. With extensive trial experience, he regularly represents clients before both state and federal trial courts, appellate courts, administrative bodies, and in private arbitrations and mediations. Having served in the United States Navy prior to practicing law, Joe brings a disciplined, high-level strategic perspective and real-world problem-solving to every legal challenge, ensuring clients receive counsel that is both cost-efficient and fiercely focused on achieving their specific goals.
Joe earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He also holds both a Master of Arts in International Policy Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, magna cum laude, from the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Joe is admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Central Districts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. A founding member of the Veterans Bar Association, he remains actively involved in supporting veteran affairs within the legal community.
When he is not advocating for his clients, Joe is an active age-group competitor in the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
