Sean Swinford has nearly two decades of litigation experience, during which he has represented clients in a wide variety of complex civil matters, including real estate, business, and personal injury cases. He has obtained summary judgment on behalf of numerous defendants and successfully argued in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals following an appealed defense verdict in a matter concerning the revocation of a conditional use permit. Mr. Swinford has jury trial experience, including as lead trial counsel in a case in which his client prevailed and recovered its costs and expert witness fees.
Sean earned his J.D. from the University of Toledo in 2005, where he served as an assistant editor of the Toledo Journal of Great Lakes Law, Science and Policy. He obtained his B.A. from The Ohio State University. Mr. Swinford is licensed to practice in all California State Courts, the Southern and Central California District Courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
